Yogi Refreshing Mint Revitalize Tea is a minty and slightly spicy tea that includes green tea, black tea, organic peppermint, kola nut, guarana seed, ginger, and cinnamon. First, let's talk about the taste. This mint tea is minty more than anything and a few minutes of steeping is more than enough to bring out the full, mint flavor. The mixture of green and black teas is evident, too, although not as obvious as the flavor of mint. And, if you search, you can detect the added spices. The cinnamon flavor is certainly there, but I admit that I had a hard time finding the other flavors, like the ginger.

As for energy, well, I agree that I feel more energized after drinking two cups of this tea, but I can't say the credit goes to the basic ingredients. A more likely culprit is the caffeine, which is higher in this tea than in other...

2nd Customer Review : Wonderful Tea - hot or iced
I am not normally a fan of mint teas. They usually smell great, but are very weak tasting, no matter how much you steep. This is the first mint tea I have ever come across that has a black and green tea base, instead of just a green tea base. What a difference! The Assam really kicks the tea up a notch without overpowering the mint at all. It has a lovely aroma, and a nice strong flavor. I can't say whether I felt "revitalized" or "invigorated" but it tasted great and that's the most important thing. It has such a great flavor, I tried it as an iced tea and found it was fantastic. Very refreshing!

Since this is marketed as "health tea," I have not been able to find any Yogi flavors in a regular grocery store. It is available in vitamin shops (online and brick and mortar), and similar outlets. Though it is a trifle expensive compared to regular tea at almost $4, I would definitely buy it again. Since it takes several bags to make a pitcher of iced tea, it is worth...

...you have to be somewhat worried that this tea will have a medicinal taste or funky aftertaste. Instead the taste is mellow and the bite of the mint comes in the aftertaste, for a more than satisfying cuppa. I'm agnostic on the revitalizing effects, but thumbs up as far as relaxation.

For a more Aveda experience, I added a bag of Egyptian licorice tea to each bag of the licorice-mint tea. The mint is less pronounced and that deep, licorice flavor lingers.

The product information doesn't tell you that the tea includes processed sweetener (stevia), butterscotch flavoring, and some other processed ingredients.

This is not the original recipe for Yogi Tea, though it implies that it is. Even on the Yogi Tea website, it doesn't mention the added artificial ingredients (I know that stevia is from a plant, but it's hightly processed for use as a sweetener).

I love the old original yogi tea, but I would never buy this.

1st Customer Review : This Product works So BUY IT.
The title says it all. Before I bought this product, I honestly didn't think it would work but I said hey I would give it a try since other people gave it good reviews on Amazon. I picked it up at my local grocery store. The tea taste REALLY good. It is just a regular tasting mint tea. The box says the product works in 6-8 hours. I found this NOT to be true but the product DOES work. I took the tea at around 4pm in the afternoon (although it tells you to take it at bedtime) and for me It didn't work until around 9am the next day. So for me it took around 17 hours to work but it will probably be different for everybody. Just make sure you have access to a toilet. You may or may not experience some "SLIGHT" cramping for an hour before of after your restroom break. Notice I said Slight not horrible or unbearable. This tea is in my opinion better than OTC products such as Miralax. Like I said I highly recommend this product because let's face it I wouldn't waste my time writing a review...

Simply follow the directions on the box, drink it at night, and it will work the morning after you drink it. Sometimes, you may feel some slight cramping, but then you know it is working. However, it is not good to use daily as your body will come to rely on it. Use sparingly and you will be pleased.
3rd Customer Review : It works, though not quite "comfortable"
I started a new high protein diet and have been less regular than usual, and was getting bloated from all the waste building up. I decided to try this as a "natural" way to deal with this issue. I drank one cup last night at about 9pm. This morning when I got up around 6:30, I had moderate stomach cramping. It was a strange feeling and I know now from reading that senna products can cause this. Anyhow, about an hour or so after getting up I had a "soft stool" and thought that was it. However, I have had continuing mild stomach cramping along with diarrhea a few times since that first BM (its about noon now). Anyways I suppose the tea did it's job as I am definitely getting "cleaned out" - its just a bit more uncomfortable than I was hoping for. Perhaps I am just more sensitive to senna?

The tea tastes great though, just like normal peppermint tea. I will probably continue to use this occasionally in the future, knowing that the following day might be uncomfortable and just...

So Im a huge tea drinker....and YOGI tea is my go to tea! This particular flavor is great iced....this has been my favorite for the summer. I was suprised that I liked this so much....since mint is not one of my favorite tea flavors. If you new to YOGI or not a mint fan....then give one of their other flavors a try. Berry DeTox or the Peach Detox are also very good!

I really like this tea. It has a naturally sweet taste without the use of any added sweeteners. (There are no artifical sweeteners added to this tea. Check out the complete ingredients list shown in the Label Information area.)

I don't find the licorice flavor to be overly strong, but you will need to like the flavor of licorice to enjoy this blend. The hint of cinnamon, ginger and pepper adds a touch of warmth to the blend, while the orange, clove and cardamom boost the spicy sweetness of the tea. This is now my favorite organic herbal tea and I can't wait to try the Egyptian Licorice Mint tea too.
