If you're a hiker, climber or any kind of sweaty outdoor enthusiast you will LOVE Kendal Mint Cake! It's a delicious hit of instant energy. Everyone should buy them so they keep on making them! I wish they were cheaper and easier to get in the US but they are worth it...the real thing. I'm getting some to take into the Grand Canyon and give to my hiking buddies.

3rd Customer Review : You need this if you're backpacking in hot weather!
You can't possibly carry enough or even eat enough calories when backpacking. You absolutely need sugar for the 4000' pass climbs. In hot weather, forget about chocolate-you just won't want it and it will have melted anyway. This stuff is just great because the mint gives it a coolness on the palate and it won't melt. It doesn't last forever so you can't keep it around for a year or so. Get it fresh.
